Acxiom LLC Senior Director of Analytics and Strategic Insights in Des Moines, Iowa

The Senior Director of Analytics and Strategic Insights is responsible for guiding our analytics consulting practice and go-to-market strategy working with our industry sales, and product teams to ensure we achieve our overall revenue and growth goals. The ideal candidate will combine broad industry experience, strong consulting skills, managerial strength and a background in analytics and business management.

This role can be located almost anywhere in the U.S.

What you will do :

  • Lead a team of analytic architects and engagement managers to deliver value for clients through Acxiom Analytics service offerings. These offerings comprise of data strategy, identity, analytics, and measurement practices.

  • Co-lead and deliver the commercial aspects of Acxiom Analytics’ long-range planning initiatives.

  • Oversee the team’s financial targets, forecasting models for pipeline to inform long-range planning and resource management.

  • Exercise a clear and concise approach to engaging with clients, customers, and key stakeholders across multiple levels of complexity and solution maturity.

  • Develop compelling go-to-market initiatives, while strengthening our positioning and messaging for Acxiom’s Analytic services.

  • Articulate a clear, consistent, and creative value proposition for our clients and customers, including being an evangelist (internal and external) for our solutions in the marketplace.

  • Support and build strategic positioning content for RFP responses and other proposals

  • Collaborate with other Analytic leaders to develop a unified consulting practice that delivers value and innovation in every aspect of our engagement process.

  • Understand the data analytics and identity market, anticipate market trends, be the expert on our solutions and guide our services strategy through the next phase of growth.

  • Coordinate with Sales, Product, Product Marketing, and Industry Solutions to support Go-To-Market positioning of new solutions and offerings

What you will need:

  • ​Demonstrated leadership; proven track record of leading complex, multidisciplinary talent teams in new endeavors and delivering solutions.

  • Proven data literacy — The ability to describe business use cases/outcomes, data sources and management concepts, and analytical approaches/options. The ability to translate among the languages used by executive, business, IT, and quantitative stakeholders.

  • Ability to effectively drive business, culture, and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment.

  • Proven record of effective leadership, including the ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, build teams and consensus, get things done through others not directly under his/her supervision, and work ethically and with integrity.

  • Analytical experience that includes P&L generation, forecasting, and reporting

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing or Technology-related field.

  • Excellent written, verbal, editing, and presentation skills

  • Strong visionary with an eye on the future

  • Sense of urgency and passion for winning

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

  • 10+ years of business experience, ideally in Business Management, Technology, Financial or Marketing.

  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and complex contexts.

  • Recent experience at or near Executive level.

  • Broad business experience internally and within MarTech/AdTech/Technology Consulting industry is preferred.

  • Experience implementing Data & Analytics in a Cloud/laaS environment is preferred.
