How You'll Support Our MissionESO is seeking an experienced Senior People Experience Manager who will help us scale and maintain our people services and support functions. Leading with care, empathy, and enthusiasm you will partner across the organization to continue to deliver on our team purpose and towards our company mission.This position requires skilled input into a broad range of HR policy work, where you will be responsible for developing and implementing capacity building and tailored training programs, managing complex and varied people matters, and ensuring that HR data and reporting is fit for purpose to inform decision making.You will report to the Senior Director of People Experience and Operations as part of our People team. The position is based out our Des Moines, IA or Austin, TX office. What You'll Be Doing - The Day to DayYou will collaborate and partner across the global people team, business units, managers, and employees to help manage, support, and resolve complex people matters. Acting as a people champion, leadership coach, strategic partner, and change agent, you will be responsible for working closely with all stakeholders to improve work relationships, foster our core values, and build engagement.You can expect to:Provide guidance and support across the organization on people policies, procedures, and practices to all stakeholdersDevelop people-centric strategies that empower managers to make good people decisions aligned with our core valuesProvide day-to-day support across the employee lifecycle, including engagement, development, objective setting, improvement, conflict management, change management, leaves of absences, accommodations, and departuresDesign, implement and modify people policies and procedures that promote a healthy work environment. This includes:Partnering with our legal team to help craft and update practices and policies that comply with US local, state and federal laws and regulations.Working with global counterparts on matters related to international compliance and global policies. This will include maintaining our US employee handbook and drafting and updating individual policies.Manage employee offboarding processesDevelop and maintain tools that help standardize process and help scale various employee lifecycle stagesPartner across the global People team to execute deliverables and implementation of programs; project management and tracking of people programs and initiatives [ Who You Are - The Essentials 5+ years' progressive experience in HR/People Operations3-5 years as a HR Manager or HRBP with a fast-growing companyAdvanced knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, best practices, and industry standardsExceptional communication and collaboration skills and ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacyImpeccable judgment and a high level of professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive issuesComprehensive understanding of HR and how connected business operations (payroll, finance, administrative, IT) impact HR practices and processesExperience working with and optimizing HR procedures and practices, including implementing and scaling people processes, operations and systemsExperience using advanced project management skills, both independently and collaborativelyAdvanced Microsoft skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint in particular)Meticulous attention to detail with a track record of accuracy and organization Who You Are - The Desirables (It's a plus if you have): HR certifications, such as PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCPExperience at a high growth technology company Benefits and Perks ESO offers a comprehensive suite of benefits to promote health and financial security for our employees and their families.
