The Role

Title : Senior PK Scientist

Location: Remote

Summary : This position reports to the Senior Director, Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics. ICON’s Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics group has a long track record of accelerating drug development and contributing to drug approval through the application of model-based strategies. As a result of continued growth, we’re looking to expand the team and would love to hear from scientists who wish to further their career in a fast-paced collaborative environment, working across many different therapeutic areas.

Duties:

  • Prepare model-based strategies to support clinical development programs

  • Design, conduct, interpret, and prepare appropriate study and regulatory summaries of quantitative pharmacology and pharmacometric activities

  • Build and sustain great relationships with clients

  • Prepare and present scientific publications

  • Excellent understanding of the integration of quantitative pharmacology

Qualifications :

  • Pharm.D or Ph.D. preferred, but not required

  • 3+ years of experience in the application of Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics in clinical drug development

  • Excellent understanding of the integration of quantitative pharmacology

  • Organizational and communication skills

  • In-Depth knowledge in WinNonlin, NONMEM (or equivalent software) and R.
