We are seeking an exceptional Senior Principal Technical Product Manager with a passion for cloud infrastructure and a talent for storytelling. In this role, you will collaborate across multiple functional teams to gain a deep understanding of OCI's product offerings, technical capabilities, and unique value proposition to produce high-quality technical product blogs and create video scripts for our OCI First Principles (https://blogs.oracle.com/cloud-infrastructure/category/oci-f) program targeting external audiences.

You will be passionate about inspiring readers with great stories, write engaging, well-researched articles, working closely with executives with video scripting to produce blog videos.

You will collaborate closely with our partners in program and product management to understand our customers and understand the right solutions and products that makes their needs and businesses complete.

You are a self-starter technical leader with a shown ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new projects.

Job Requirements :

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, possess strong interpersonal skills and proven experience working with engineers, architects, and senior executives.

  • Ability to synthesize collateral, formulate technical topics, crafting engaging technical blog content, and video scripts for our OCI Frist Principles Program

  • Engage with various stakeholders like marketing, product, legal to help publish blog content, facilitate video recording, and assist in producing and publishing the video content.

  • Partnering with program and product management teams to understand customer needs and translate them into powerful solutions.

  • Keeping abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and market shifts to ensure our blogs focus on relevant content and forward-thinking.

  • Research the use of new technologies and combinations of technologies and write papers and articles that explain the use and illustrate the business value.

  • Work with subject matter experts both inside and outside of Oracle to learn and communicate their unique takes on the inner workings and application of technology for cloud service customers.

  • Assist in other special projects such as preparing customer presentation collateral or activities as needed. Cover events as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar.

  • 10+ years of experience as hands-on product and technical program manager; preferably in a related industry.

  • Advanced knowledge of cloud fundamentals and cloud services

  • Experience efficiently and effectively communicating findings/progress to cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and the broader organizations, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment.

  • Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn about new tools, software, and market opportunities quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of product design, program management or related experience with a development background

  • Master’s degree in computer science or relevant technical field or equivalent work experience

  • Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking

  • Demonstrated knowledge of OCI, AWS, Azure or Google IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $114,500 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
