Senior Sales & Business Development Representative (LMS Specialist)

Responsible for creating business relationships and generating sales leads with high-level contacts often through face-to-face and client site visits. Maintains an ongoing business relationship with current industry clients to facilitate future sales. This position does not close sales, but is often paid incentives tied to resulting sales. Operates under general supervision. Works in conjunction with a specific field sales rep/team or telesales/Internet rep/team.

The primary responsibilities of this role are:

  • High level sales presentations of the LMS to key decision makers

  • Setting up Pilot opportunities

  • Taking faculty on a deep dive into the specifics of the deep integration

  • Consultation with faculty around course curriculum

  • Course Building

  • LMS Admin support/LTI Configuration

  • Supporting opportunities of Enterprise Account and Field Sales reps through the sales process

  • Liaison between customer and technical support or development team for technical issues.

  • Sharing best practices to reps, DISs and RAMs.

  • Assisting Field reps with Sales Strategy.

  • Maintaining accurate data in SFDC around LMS integrations

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience

•1+ years working in Account Management or Sales or other equivalent experience

•Basic understanding of business, financials, products/services and the market

•Excellent communication (both written & oral) and presentation skills

•Ability to follow a sales plan and manage resources accordingly

Experience with Canvas or Chalkboard (LMS Software) preferred
