The Oracle Digital (OD) salesforce within the CEGBU is made up of a team of sales reps who focus exclusively on a subset of the overall market, selling Construction & Engineering solutions. The OD Sales and Sales Consulting teams work with customers and prospects remotely to identify business need, propose a solution, demonstrate that solution, and close sales.

Job Description

As an Oracle Digital Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Discuss common industry and business issues in order to identify the needs of the prospect. Disseminate information that has been gleaned from a prospective customer in order to develop a value-based solution that fits their needs. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations that show the value of utilizing cloud-based project management solutions. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits of CEGBU solutions. Develop and manage reference customers through high quality technical, professional client relationships. Produce reusable content that can be shared among the greater sales consulting community in order to increase the overall effectiveness of the organization.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. Demonstrated proficiency in learning enterprise level, cloud-based applications. Proficient knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience of performing needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and solution delivery. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. 5 years of experience working with common business-related software applications. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
