Job Description
Oracle is looking for a seasoned executive to lead the Container organization for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). We are building the next generation of cloud, the complete IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud that operates at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant environment. Our customers run their business on our cloud, and our mission is to provide them with the best-in-class compute, storage, networking, database, security, and an ever-expanding set of foundational cloud-based services. Containers are at the center of our cloud effort, and both Oracle services and customers run their mission-critical workloads on our container services.
This role will be part of OCI Containers, Kubernetes and Serverless organization and responsible for leading multiple public and internal cloud services and tools to enable building and deploying containerized workloads. These services are used by thousands of customers and drive millions of dollars in revenue. This is a critical leadership role and you will be responsible for the strategic direction and roadmap for these services. You will partner with other teams to drive new initiatives and deliver new features. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of container technologies, cloud architecture and experience leading large organizations.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include:
Developing and delivering features and services
Leading key initiatives including new service development
Partnering with key teams across the company
Defining new KPIs to inform decision making and prioritization
Providing regular updates and interacting with executive management to influence the portfolio
Leading, hiring, growing and mentoring a team of engineers, managers and program managers.

Hiring Range: from $142,900 to $338,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
