Principal Software Engineer in Des Moines, Iowa
The Custody Solutions Team is looking for software engineers to help with the design, development and integration of applications for our institutional customers. Development will be focused on standing up applications, integrating systems and building new capabilities into the Principal environment. You'll work on a high performing agile team, collaborating often through pair and mob programming. We are looking for passionate engineers to jump in and make this a success.
As a member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to:

Understand complex technical concepts and translating them into solutions that are understandable and engaging
Deliver customer centric solutions that incorporate desired capabilities, security, scalability, and performance
Collaborate with your scrum team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
Solve exciting and sophisticated problems to build a positive customer experience
We’re looking for someone with:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preference in a science, technology, engineering, or math) or equivalent work experience
2+ years of development experience in modern technology (We will be using Java on this team)
Additional preferred technical experience:
Test Driven Development
REST API development
Spring MVC, boot, batch
