Sr. Manager, Finance Deal Desk (Remote)

Position Overview

We’re hiring a Deal Desk Sr. Manager (Finance) to continue strong cross-functional partnerships within Change Healthcare's portfolio of Revenue Cycle Management solutions and act as a deal quarterback and team leader. The individual in this role will be responsible for building deal models that support revenue growth, mitigate attrition, preserve margin, and align with business/finance/legal strategy. This role will also support custom quotes in our Configure Price Quote (CPQ) system and draft custom pricing exhibits. The ideal candidate is analytical, intellectually curious, a creative problem solver, a talented relationship builder, and natural leader/mentor.

In this role, the individual will:

  • Partner with sales, account management, finance, business, and other senior level stakeholders to become a trusted advisor

  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to understand how deal model decisions impact operations and execution across the business, legal, and finance teams

  • Provide thought leadership to identify opportunities, perform deal economic analyses, and develop “out of the box” strategies to create winning deals

  • Collaborate with finance, legal and business teams to ensure contracts align with operations, revenue recognition, billing, and renewal requirements

  • Navigate multiple CRM/CPQ and data sources

  • Identify and execute on process improvement opportunities

  • Lead 2-4 team members through an inclusive, positive style

    Requirements

  • 8+ years of work experience; preferably in finance, sales operations, or business operations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, or other quantitative field; MBA preferred

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills

  • Fundamental understanding of contracting practices and documents

  • Proven ability to independently create, validate, present, and implement ideas

  • Solid technical skills including advanced Microsoft Excel; experience with Salesforce and Apttus a strong plus

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent organization and planning skills with and ability to work well in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

  • Team player with outstanding interpersonal skills driven by diplomacy (and a great sense of humor) with the ability to encourage and influence with and without direct authority

  • Previous people leader experience strongly preferred

    Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of finance and legal policies and practices

  • Sales systems: CRM and CPQ

    Education

  • Required: BS in finance or related field or equivalent experience

  • Preferred: MBA preferred in finance, marketing, or economics, or equivalent experience
