Description We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of general accounting functions as well as providing accounting support for senior staff if needed. Responsibilities: Assist in the maintenance of a full set of financial records, including preparing, posting, and reconciling journal entries, and maintaining and analyzing the general ledger. Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Assist with the annual budget process and monthly financial forecasting activities. Collaborate with the accounts payable and receivable departments to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and timely. Prepare tax returns, balance sheet reconciliations, and other financial reports. Ensure adherence to company’s internal controls, and compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. Requirements Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not necessary. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in accounting or a related field preferred. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and with accounting software, particularly in Microsoft Excel. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
