About the Career: In this role you will lead and direct user experience design professionals in the development and creation of revolutionary and impactful user experience designs. As the organization’s user experience software design ambassador, you will be responsible for representing the expectations of its user relative to usability of solutions and must remain acutely focused on identifying new and improved ways to transform user experience designs across all solutions developed for customers and employees.

Bachelor’s degree or direct and applicable work experience.
Minimum 4 years’ experience defining user flow and championing the enhancement of the user experience.
Leadership experience, typically gained through a combination of project or informal leadership that demonstrates knowledge of work processes, products and services, and leadership competencies.
Ability to coach and mentor a team to produce results.
Demonstrated ability to plan and implement change initiatives; supporting innovation and creativity by encouraging staff to accept and resolve challenges.
Proven ability to remain flexible and adaptable when experiencing changes in the work environment or processes.
Effective organizational and communication skills with experience in presenting information through different mediums and varying audiences.
Ability to influence, solicit cooperation and action from others and the ability to collaborate with business and technical leaders to educate and gain understanding and buy-in.
Strong decision making skills, with the ability to effectively solve business problems.
Experience leading a UX Design team with formal leadership experience including HR management and project scoping
Strategic planning experience, including strategic analysis to recognize trends and consequences, as well as establish and commit to a course of action in order to accomplish a long-range goal or vision of the organization.
a. Provide leadership and day-to-day management of financial and human resources, primarily focusing on employee coaching, development, performance improvement, coordination and budgeting for staff and department(s) specific functions/services. Support business objectives and produce results that are effective, accurate, and timely and on target to meet HR team and stakeholder needs.
b. Oversee and drive user experience design capabilities for the organization. Provide strategic guidance to a team of User Experience Designers, whom are responsible for the translation of user requirements. Will conduct user experience design planning, usability testing while taking into account business requirements, industry best practices and user needs identified from research.
c. Lead the delivery and information architecture of interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use and are constructed to optimize the user experience design.
d. In collaboration with Stakeholder Engagement will partner with research, business analysts, developers and others across the organization to deliver user experience designs that result in strong engagement and a positive user experience with the developed solutions.
e. Be a champion for continuous learning ensuring that the team can acquire specialized skills and capabilities to deliver the next generation of user experience designs.
f. Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of efficient and effective user experience design methodology/processes, documentation, workflow, governance, metrics and user experience design standards for the organization.
g. Collaborate with and leverage brand strategy and brand guidelines as standards during the development of user experience design deliverables.
h. Oversee a complex multi-business, multi-channel project portfolio of work requiring user experience design results that ensure exceptional execution and delivery of software solutions for employees and customers.
i. Partner strategically to supplement any knowledge, skills and resource gaps.
j. Work directly with Leadership across the organization to inject and promote a discipline of user experience design thinking.
k. Be accountable for describing and enabling a reimagined approach and methodology for user experience design related decision-making.
