JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Training Program Lead is a critical global role, delivering technical and facilities management training programs for the largest service line of business within GWS. This role is primarily focused on three key areas: (i) developing, managing, and promoting adoption of e-learning programs for all technical staff engaged in the delivery of facilities management services across the GWS Enterprise business globally; (ii) curating specific technical training content to support Sector and Account requirements; and (iii) supporting content development for non-technical certifications within the FM Champions portfolio (circa 20% of role).

The Technical Training Program Lead will partner and collaborate with Sector, Regionals and Account Technical Leaders and SMEs to understand learning needs, prioritize and strategize areas of focus, and develop e-learning content to support the needs of the GWS Enterprise business. This may necessitate curating, editing, and re-branding of existing materials.

ADDIE methodology and adult learning theory will be applied to ensure effective outcomes through a variety of delivery methods.

This job holder will also partner with EFM Product Management and Marketing teams to ensure all programs are effectively communicated, managed, and designed to embody the imagery, design and feel of the CBRE brand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manages, strategizes, and prioritizes training (predominantly e-learning) experiences for GWS Enterprise technical staff across all Sectors and Regions.

· Identifies and assesses current and future workforce development and training requirements (to ensure safety, compliance, and enhance performance) and incorporates these into the relevant training and career development programs.

· Tracks and measures efficacy of e-learning programs through data collection and reports this information to business leaders.

· Responsible for ensuring upload and maintenance of content into CBRE’s Learning Management System (LMS).

· Responsible for designing communications to the GWS Enterprise technical community upon asset creation and release.

· Coordinates with EFM functions and supports the delivery of recurring and specialized virtual training workshops for Enterprise personnel.

· Assists with design of materials for presentations including editing and creating presentation decks as needed.

· Identifies subject matter experts (SMEs) to assist in the development of content.

· Recommends the appropriate delivery methods to optimize knowledge transfer across the technical community.

· Develops strong effective relationships with business leaders, managers, consultants and trainers.

· Assesses third-party technical training programs for applicable integration in overall curriculum and program design, and owns these third-party relationships, as appropriate.

· Researches learning industry trends, methodologies, and best practices and integrates those into professional practice.

· Utilizes advanced knowledge of learning and development to create self-paced e-learning modules and curated playlists as needed.

· Creates and delivers concise communication to all levels across GWS Enterprise as it relates to technical training initiatives and programs.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position, but a high level of matrix management is required across Sector, Regional, Country and Account teams.

Coordinates and assigns tasks to colleagues within business unit and/or project teams.

Leads project teams and/or plans and supervises assignments of lower-level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng) in a related discipline (eg. technical, engineering) is preferred.

Minimum of 5-7 years related experience required with 4 years in learning and development related responsibilities, including, program design, curriculum development, etc.

Must work well under pressure with proactive approach including managing multiple deadlines and changing project scope/direction.

Fully capable of working globally, independently, and collaboratively.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to account teams and clients.

The minimum salary for the Technical Training Program Lead position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Technical Training Program Lead is $100,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
