Responsibilities
Overall Responsibilities:
Public Consulting Group is seeking a Training and Curriculum Specialist for the New York Early Intervention Program State Fiscal Agent and other early intervention projects to serve as a key player in achieving business objectives within our Human Services practice area.
The Training and Curriculum Specialist is expected to design, develop, and deliver curriculum related to but not limited to, early intervention processes to internal and external stakeholders. In addition, this person will assist in all training initiatives for client go-lives and post-go-lives. They will use applications including MS PowerPoint, Snagit, Salesforce, Articulate360 Software,andParadiso Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver training goals. This person will respond to all training requests in a professional, friendly, and timely manner; and be expected to be public-service oriented. They will have excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills and will apply independent judgment.
Specific Responsibilities:
Specifically, the Training and Curriculum Specialist will:
Design and deliver training programs with internal and external end-users.
Identifies (using Training Needs Assessment) skill or knowledge gaps among all end-users.
Develops training content in response to identified training needs (e.g., Training Needs Assessment).
Work with the Training Specialist to select training tools or training delivery mechanisms based on the material taught and the audience targeted.
Determined by Training Needs Assessment, develops e-learning training courses.
Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to capture accurate information needed to develop curriculum for end-users.
Under the guidance of the Lead Trainer and Curriculum, creates and maintains course content, manuals, or other training materials.
Initiates and coordinates "just-time" training material (e.g., Job Aids and Infographics).
Become knowledgeable on early intervention applications and processes, including billing, claiming, and case management.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Curriculum development experience
Strong e-learning curriculum development skills using MS Windows, Articulate, SnagIt, and other authoring tools
Strong organizational skills
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Proven ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership, clients, and customers
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PPT, and Outlook), and Salesforce (preferred)
Thorough and unrelenting attention to detail
Fluent communication and interpersonal skills with customers, business teams, and technical colleagues
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Required Experience:
Creating curricula for end-users
Training plan and assessments
Help desk or call center environment, including application support and reporting
Knowledge of Child Services (e.g., Welfare, Protective, Early Intervention, etc.), Home and Community-Based Services, Medicaid billing experience in service provision and claiming (a plus)
Knowledge of state/government programs, policies, and systems
Creating, coordinating, delivering, and assessing educational and/or professional development training in a corporate or government setting (a plus)
Working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
A bachelor's degree is required

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $61,732-$80,400 . In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
