Job Description

As the Vendor Risk Management Consultant, you'll serve as a trusted partner to leaders within HR, supporting them in managing their vendor portfolios. Your role will be instrumental to helping HR to run like a business and making sure that we are getting the best value from our vendors. You'll partner with our Risk Consultants making sure that we are managing vendor risk appropriately and will support our HR leaders in completing risk processes. You will help your internal clients to become better vendor managers and to decide how to leverage vendor relationships effectively to accomplish HR's goals and objectives. Our Vendor Risk Management Consultants partner with HR Leaders, other Business Risk Professionals, and Business Risk Managers to maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework. This includes participating in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Identify gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors as well as actively identify, respond and/or escalate risks as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Two to three years of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Intermediate understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls

  • Intermediate understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact HR vendors

  • Experience with or exposure to Human Resource operations preferred

  • Basic knowledge of Business Risk competencies

  • Strong process facilitation and project management skills

  • Well-developed analytical skills

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs

  • Proficient computer navigation skills, particularly word processing, spreadsheet, databases, and presentations

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $64,770.00 - $76,200.00 - $83,820.00
