What does a successful VP II, Client Management do?

The VP II, Client Management will lead sales for an Account Processing solution to ensure revenue growth, profitability, client satisfaction, cross sales, client retention and industry relations in a matrix environment. In this role you will be aligned with the Account Processing division which offers multi-charter solutions to banking and credit union clients in a shared services model.

As the VP II Client Management, you can expect to lead the overall business direction as well as the creation and execution of the sales strategy; including, setting revenue growth strategies, territory and account planning, resource deployment, sales forecasting and talent management. This VP leader will serve as a key member of the division leadership team and work closely with the Account Management teams to ensure clients have the right portfolio of products and services to achieve best-in-class results. Our internal success will be measured by increased client wallet share; improved sales win rates, client retention, client references, and higher product adoption rate by our clients’ customers.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred; Ten plus years of work experience will be considered.

• 7 years of experience required in the technology industry running a business including leading Sales or Account Teams, with emphasis on P&L Management, Sales Management, and Relationship Management. (financial services industry experience strongly preferred)

• 7 - 10 years of management or supervisory experience

• 7 - 10 years of managing a high performing team and managing quotas

Travel Required:

• Up to 60% (post-COVID19 and as declared by the organization for clearance to travel)

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience of in-depth knowledge of banking business and operations.

  • Experience managing quotas in excess of $100M in annualized revenue

  • Experience dealing with complex clients and contract negotiations; specifically, knowledge of data processing contracts and legal impact of contracts.

  • Experience dealing with procurement organizations is a plus

  • Good understanding of service pricing in order to ensure profitable pricing of services to Fiserv clients.
