Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves various tasks such as cutting and quelling cables, kitting, using a tape measure, performing electrical assembly on junction boxes, connectors, and outlets, as well as picking and packing. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with cross training in all areas of operation.

Responsibilities

  • Cutting and quelling cables

  • Kitting

  • Using a tape measure for precise measurements

  • Performing electrical assembly on junction boxes, connectors, and outlets

  • Picking and packing items

  • Cross-training in all areas of warehouse operation

Essential Skills

  • Experience in assembly and electrical assembly

  • Experience in kitting, picking, and packing

  • Material handling skills

  • Warehouse inventory management

  • Proficiency with hand tools

  • Basic math skills including addition and subtraction

  • Forklift operation experience

  • Ability to work independently

  • Detail-oriented with at least 1 year of relevant experience

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Work Environment

You will be working in a fully remodeled warehouse that is four times larger than our previous space, indicating significant growth plans. The warehouse is divided into departments including shipping/receiving, quelling, and electrical assembly. Currently, there are 8 people in production. You must be open to working in all departments when needed. The shift is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional optional Saturdays. One week out of the year, you will work four 10-hour shifts to enjoy a 3-day weekend.
