Aerotek Welder in Des Moines, Iowa


Welders will be welding and fabricating structural components used in the agricultural industry

  • Produce and assemble steel structures and equipment using a MiG welder

  • Operate hand tools such as grinders, drills, impacts per job requirements

  • Ability to understand blueprints

  • Ensure work meets quality and production requirements as determined by quality control and production supervision

  • Willingness to operate overhead crane

  • Work with area lead and supervision on any materials needed to perform duties

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Open to training candidates with a passion for welding and willingness to learn

  • 1+ years of welding experience on job, in school, or as a hobby (Preferred)

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings

  • Ability to read tape measure to ensure accuracy

Additional Information:

  • 1st shift / 6am - 4:30pm / Monday - Thursday + occasional OT as needed (maybe on a Friday or Saturday, depending)
