Job Title: Wire Assembler

Job Description

As a Wire Assembler, you will be responsible for following panel production deadlines and tracking hours for completion. This role requires you to utilize blueprints to determine the layout of the panel and connect 300 to 1000 wires on the electrical panel while reading a blueprint. You will wire the panels and components based on the specifications of the client and use small hand tools like wire crimpers and cutters. A significant part of your job will involve matching wires to the panels in the correct location.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 480 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa.

Work Environment

Our work environment is clean, bright, and climate controlled. You will have your own workspace, but you will be close to other people. Your work will be largely independent, but it's important that you stay on task and complete your work by yourself. We operate from Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4pm, with a half-hour lunch break and two additional breaks during the day. Overtime is available and must be earned. Once you join us, you will be assigned a team that best fits your skills. Our dress code requires you to wear jeans, a t-shirt with sleeves and closed-toed shoes. Safety glasses are provided. We have a strict attendance policy with a 5-minute clock-in cushion. Exceeding 6 incidences in 60 days may lead to termination. However, medical excuses are accepted if provided within 48 hours. All time off can be tracked via our iPads.
