Job Title: Industrial Sales Manager

Swift Prepared Foods is looking for a sales professional experienced with Industrial and Foods Service customers to assist with launching a new product line of RTE bacon and Dried/Cured Meats. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of industrial experience selling ingredients to other manufacturers or food service companies. Experience in the meat industry is a must. Candidate must also have P&L experience with ability to read and interpret financials. Co-packer experience a plus.

Our Ideal Candidate Has and Will:

  • Significant experience within Dry Sausage and Bacon categories.

  • Establish sales relationship with Top 10 Volume Accounts. Candidate should have a National network with Industrial B2B Accounts and Foodservice accounts.

  • Manage Brokers where necessary in each market to establish growth goals and implement strategy to accomplish those goals.

  • Candidate should have a working knowledge of B2B and Foodservice P&L and pricing mechanisms to develop customer partnerships.

  • Review weekly analytics and conduct weekly meetings with each broker market to measure results and adjust strategy.

  • Negotiate program agreements with Top 10 accounts and Independent Foodservice Distributors.

  • Plan, Schedule, Develop, and Execute sales trainings and new product introductions with Broker offices, Distributors, and Top 10 customers.

  • Knowledge of B2B and Foodservice item offering and product capability, and current price lists.

  • Regular collaboration with Head of Sales to review and update strategies and initiatives.

  • Accept ownership of Sales Objectives and all facets of our business that impact sales growth.

  • Work in Tandem with Swift HQ office to develop and be responsible for margin realization.

  • Be informed about and communicate market and industry changes that will affect our performance and growth

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: College degree or related experience

Experience: 7 years of experience in B2B Manufacturing and Foodservice sales. Meat Industry experience is required.

External: Work with B2B Food Manufacturers and Foodservice accounts that utilize Dry Sausage, Raw Bacon, and Fully Cooked Bacon. Procurement Buyers and executive team, Customer’s Directors of Purchasing and R&D staff, and Brokers Market Directors, Distributor Lead Acct Reps, and Broker Sales reps.

Work Environment:

  • Office setting


  • The position will require up to 50% travel (when COVID-19 normalizes)
