Title: Electrical Engineer - Battery Electric Vehicle-90414

Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position

This position is eligible for a partial telework arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer for John Deere Construction and Forestrys battery electric vehicle team located in Dubuque Iowa, you will.

  • Design wire harnesses and integrate electrical components into battery electric vehicle platforms

  • Collaborate cross functionally to develop electrical system and component solutions that meet manufacturability, performance, cost and life goals

  • Lead BOM creation, print and workflow thru out the product delivery process.

  • Benchmark internal and external electrical solutions for battery electric vehicle platforms

What Skills You Need

  • Experience with wiring harness design, electrical system design and integration

  • Experience developing requirements, electronic hardware, circuit design and analysis

  • 3D Modeling experience

  • Effective interpersonal communication and project management skills

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience with battery electric vehicle design

  • Construction equipment engineering experience

  • Experience developing wiring harnesses using PDMLink, CREO and Capital Harness Systems

  • J1939 CAN, EMB 32, ISOBUS, and design diagnostics experience

  • Experience leading design/test work performed by remotely located team members

  • Experience with systems engineering practices

Education Details

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
