Flexsteel Industries Quality Control Engineer - Vietnam in Dubuque, Iowa
Description
Applicants must reside in Vietnam to be considered for this role*
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Control production quality independently in all stage including incoming materials, white wood, assembly, finishing and packing.
Extend quality control to subcontractor where necessary
Deal with factory line manager to get quality issues fix before they flow to the next stage
Train factory QCs to align with same quality standards and monitor factory QCs performance
Perform inline and final inspection and generate inspection reports.
Perform inhouse testing for: carton drop test, loading test and tipping test.
Investigate causes of quality complaints and develop CAPs.
Act as the company’s eyes and ears in the frontline and report factory real time production status
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least 5 years’ experience in furniture production and quality
Good communication skill with factory management team,
Have ability to deal with the daily quality issue on production line.
Communication skills: Chinese is preferable, English and Vietnamese are plus
High school diploma or equivalent.
General computer experience is required.
