Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler

Job Description

This position involves building pallets for canned dry goods to be shipped from a large distribution center. The role includes picking, packing, and assembling pallets based on client orders. You will be operating a stand-up forklift in a fast-paced production environment, moving from one location to the next, customizing each pallet according to client specifications. A headset will guide you on what items to pick and where to go within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Build pallets for canned dry goods for shipment

• Pick, pack, and assemble pallets according to client orders

• Operate a stand-up forklift in a fast-paced production environment

• Use a headset to receive instructions on item selection and location

Essential Skills

• Forklift operation

• Order picking and packing

• General labor tasks

• Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours a day

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively

• Minimum of 6 months forklift experience or 1 year in a fast-paced warehouse

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced production environment

Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.35, with an increase to $19.85 after six months and a potential push to $21.00 per hour by April.
