Pace Analytical Services, Inc. Document Specialist (Entry-Level) in Fort Dodge, Iowa
This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations for R&D Document Management in our client’s electronic data management systems. This position will assist R&D document management within the electronic systems and assist Global L&D with cross-functional training curriculum and training assignments.
This role is responsible for compliance with all client quality standards regarding the document management systems. In addition to the document management in the electronic system, the document specialist is responsible for scanning documents and routing to appropriate personnel or electronic systems for review, audit, or archiving purposes.
Route documents on appropriate workflows
Ensure documents are numbered and categorized appropriately
Ensure documents have appropriate document retention codes
Link documents to client’s electronic training management system
Assist in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the Iowa Site training management program and ensure compliance in close collaboration with the R&D quality group
Support R&D audit readiness
Ensure all documentation practices and procedures on site are current, transparent and meet all GxP standards
Responsible for maintaining documentation for all job descriptions, organizational charts and other organizational documents as required
Support creation, review, and routing of computer system validation documentation
Ensure documents are scanned and routed appropriately for review, audit, and archiving purposes
2 years of document management experience preferred
Ability to document procedures that are clear and easy to understand
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills; able to control the flow of documents and all processes efficiently
Self-motivated and ability to work independently, Integral part of a cooperative team effort
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing demands
Excellent documentation management skills, experience and a strong orientation toward collaboration, process, and continuous improvement
Proficient use of Microsoft Suite
