Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Low Voltage Systems Installer/Technician to join our HVAC Controls team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical low voltage installations, including conduit installation, wire pulling, termination, and system checkout. The ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams is essential, as well as a willingness to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and test low voltage wiring, cables, and control systems in a variety of settings, ensuring adherence to industry standards at construction sites, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities
  • Confidently read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues with efficiency and accuracy, minimizing downtime
  • Collaborate with other technicians and project managers, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, representing our company with pride
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in low voltage electrical installations, ideally in the HVAC controls or related field
  • Proficiency in system design for low voltage applications, wire pulling, termination, and testing techniques
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work independently and when interacting with team members and clients
  • Willingness to travel overnight as needed and work in diverse environments, including construction sites and commercial buildings
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
