Position Summary

As the Senior Procurement Coordinator, you will schedule assigned raw and packaging materials according to production requirements and ensure production schedule compliance. You will also publish a detailed weekly receiving schedule for assigned raw and packaging materials. The Procurement Coordinator will also serve as the primary point of contact for all vendor communications and as the collection point for the vendor notification process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Update and maintain weekly production schedule. Maintain schedule within SAP. Create process orders daily. Communicate to production if changes are needed.

  • Communicate daily/weekly production needs to sub-contractors. This includes creating all call off PO’s, prioritizing production, managing work in progress inventories at the Factory and at sub-contractors locations.

  • Utilize forecast, economic production quantities, safety stock, inventory levels and maintenance schedule to plan weekly and daily production schedules at the optimal total cost.

  • Perform SAP responsibilities for daily production schedules, resources, production models, data maintenance, packaging MDM, etc.

  • Perform procurement duties for labels and various packaging items. Manage label inventory, VCCs, and vendor communications.

  • Manage the coordination of all PCR’s and promotional activities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ years’ experience with procurement, buying, or logistics in a manufacturing or military environment.
