Are you someone who has a passion to drive positive culture and eager to support team members? We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our fun team at Iowa Mold Tooling company!

As the Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) you will be the liaison between team members and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations. This role will provide HR support to the different business functions which may include recruitment, employment documentation, job evaluation, compensation and benefits. You will also collect and analyze HR data, and make recommendations for changes to management.

Location: Garner, Iowa


These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for providing comprehensive HR supports to a business unit/functional area which may include recruitment, employment documentation, job evaluation, compensation and benefits.

  • Act as a liaison between departments/divisions, all levels of line and staff management, HR Center of Excellences (COEs), legal counsel and outside service providers.

  • Serve as a contact for employees and answer questions regarding HR policies and procedures.

  • Understand and apply HR best practices in coordination with the different segments.

  • Assess and respond to high level employee relations issues including employee misconduct, harassment and discrimination investigations.

  • Assist with HR projects as necessary.

  • Support and coach less-experienced HRBPs.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience as an HR Generalist as well as have a broad perspective and expertise in multiple areas of HR such as talent acquisition, labor/employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and organizational effectiveness.


  • Certified Professional HR (PHR) or Senior Professional HR (SPHR).

  • Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.

  • Ability to establish strong partnerships with functional and business leaders to develop and execute on long and short-term HR strategies that directly support the business.

  • Innovative, future-oriented and open to new thoughts and ideas.

  • Willing to challenge the status quo and be a strong influencer.

  • Ability to build team morale and promote corporate culture.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


  • Physical Demands: Frequent Sitting, Hearing, Talking, Visual, Typing, Manual Dexterity; Seldom Standing, Walking/Running, Reaching, Driving, Bending/Kneeling, Fine Dexterity, Upper Extremity Repetitive Motion, and Lifting/Carrying and Pushing/Pulling up to 40lbs.
