    What we are looking for:

  • Four-year degree (Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology) and three years of related project management experience - OR -

  • Two-year technical degree with five years of related project management experience

  • Project Management Certification (PMP) (preferred)

  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP systems and project management software

  • Strong organizational, decision making, communication, and time management skills

  • Detail-oriented

  • Able to travel up to 10% of time

    What you’ll be doing:

  • Serving as the owner of new business project portfolio and management process, including project KPI’s and associated metrics, and the standardization of tools and their application

  • Acting as a leader in creating a positive environment that supports continuous improvement and the work being put in place in a collaborative and productive manner

  • Increasing the effectiveness of cross-functional project work acting as a bridge between departments

  • Assisting project team members in their professional development

  • Initiating actions required to achieve project objectives and ensuring all project activities are consistent with company policy

  • Prioritizing and planning work activities in a methodical manner

  • Anticipating obstacles to project completion and developing contingency plans

  • Estimating resourced needed for project completion and ensuring the completion of work

  • Completing profitable projects successfully

  • Developing a thorough understanding of the project documents, equipment needs, project staff, and scope of work to review with the project team

    WCI has grown from $50M in annual sales to more than $300M in the last 10 years. During the same period, we have added 5 new locations bringing the total up to 9, including 1 located internationally.
