Responsibilities

As part of the Learning Accelerator and Learning and Professional Services team, the Product Marketing Manager will create and deploy multi-tactical marketing communications plans and campaigns for the Learning and Professional Services portfolio of services. The Product Marketing Manager will partner closely with leadership and team members on the team and across the organization.

Typical work-related activities include:

  • Develop targeted multi-channel communications (eMail, direct mail, digital marketing, web and traditional marketing) directed to diverse clients

  • Develop, track and report on performance metrics for all service marketing campaigns

  • Prepare collateral, tools and multimedia presentations for customers, channel partners, policy makers, national and regional conferences, and Board of Directors

  • Design and execute strategies for customer acquisition and retention

  • Determine cost effective channels to drive awareness of services

  • Responsible for developing copy and content included in product marketing activities across all internal and external marketing channels

  • Act as the marketing lead on services launch and sunset initiatives including responsibility for creating the related communication plan

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining all internal and external sales support materials

  • Responsible for coordinating all service marketing and sales collateral with implementation support materials and customer training materials

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related area required

  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of progressively responsible product management or product marketing experience required

  • Experience with market analysis, product launch and integrated marketing campaigns required

  • Experience developing multi-channel marketing materials and communications required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required

  • Preferred experience in or with:

  • B2B product marketing

  • digital product set

  • start-up entrepreneurial type of work environment

  • learning resources and/or developing K-12 classroom solutions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven success in marketing services

  • Ability to be successful in a fast paced environment while prioritizing and managing multiple complex projects often times with competing deadlines

  • Team player who is reliable, flexible, helpful and works well in a collaborative environment

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including presentation skills

  • Fast learner, highly motivated, self-starter
