Description

Corteva Agriscience is seeking an exclusive, independent sales agent to sell and service agronomy software and services to an assigned pool of customers and prospects in southern Iowa. Towns included: Ottumwa, Corydon, and Oskaloosa.

The role of the Certified Services Agent (CSA) is to promote, sell, and deliver Agronomy software and services. A successful CSA possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to not only listen and observe their customers’ needs but also help identify solutions to meet those needs. They must possess sales skills as well as the experience and knowledge in precision ag to assist customers with services application and management decisions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Marketing and selling a wide range of Granular Agronomy brand software and Service

  • Customizing software offering to fit the individual customer’s needs and objectives

  • Delivering recommendations and prescriptions agronomically through Granular Agronomy Software

  • Supporting the total Granular Agronomy offering:

  • Variable Rate Seeding

  • Variable Rate Fertility

  • Nitrogen Management including variable rate

  • In-season Directed Scouting using Satellite Imagery

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to build strong relationships with customers

  • Strong sales, communication, consulting and problem-solving skills to assist customers with services application and management decisions.

  • Experience working with precision ag services, precision technology, ag chemical and/or seed is a priority.
