CVS Health Manager of Omnichannel Category Management in Iowa

Job Description

The Manager of Omnichannel Category Management will assist in leading the definition and development of an omnichannel merchandising strategy that super charges our growth across categories. As an extension of the front store team, you will define growth strategies that create multi-channel customer behavior, drive higher share of wallet and higher lifetime value in a subset of front store categories Responsibilities include:• Helps senior manager define clear digital strategy at a category level, and in support of FS strategy. • Develops strategy for assortment, promotions and events that will grow overall category sales, profit, and market share, with FS merchandising priorities and marketing themes as key inputs.• Drives and analyzes overall digital business. Understand performance and market trends. Shares relevant business information with Front Store partners and relevant stakeholders. • Assists senior manager lead digital category management / site merch / merch ops “troika” (category focused working team) including prioritization of work based on strategic category roles • Builds partnerships with key cross functional partners including front store merchandising, marketing, L&P, store operations and logistics • Partners with vendors to understand market insights, opportunities, and trends and to identify ways to drive the business• Partners with Site Merch team to influence product placement and to bring the category digital strategy to life across multiple assets (e.g. .com, cMX, L&P, etc.)• Supports senior manager lead strategy and execution for key digital merchandising initiatives as needed • Partners with analytics and optimization teams to synthesize complex web data, product performance and voice of customer data to form actionable insights to accelerate growth• Demonstrates the ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, to be decisive under ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years strong analytical and merchandising skills • 5+ years’ experience in digital category management / merchandising

Preferred Qualifications

Track record building, managing and improving digital products and experiences.Person who can easily function in a high demand, performance driven environment of action to engage diverse audiences and influence senior executives.Experience in team building and leadership involving direct, indirect, and non reports.Experience working with engineering, design, and project management counterparts to achieve results.

Education

BS/BA on related field or equivalent work experience
