Xerox Corporation in Cedar Rapids, Iowa has an immediate opening for a Client Support Specialist. The Client Support Specialist provides the services delivery support to the client by providing Machine level break fix support. Objectives of position are to deliver operational excellence and customer service interface. The key components of success include; delivering SLA achievement, client satisfaction and retention, exhibit teamwork (internally & externally), managing the account supply levels, interacts with internal leaders (sales and operations), identify additional opportunities to grow revenue and reduce costs.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary customer contact for equipment support and service.

  • Provide on-going end user training on equipment.

Services Delivery

  • Basic device cleaning and replacement of operator accessible parts and consumables per equipment specifications.

  • DocuCare level Break-fix activities account for 70% of role responsibilities (ie replacing feed rollers, adjustment procedures, fuser cleaner procedures, appropriate retrofits, etc.).

  • Provide IP address support (only with no other network support provided).

  • Perform basic equipment problem diagnosis.

  • Point of contact for equipment removal and delivery.

  • Contact service as required.

  • Utilize Xerox web-based applications as required to include call handling.

  • Accurate call reporting on equipment.

  • Remote Service call onsite support.

  • Utilize Excel to fulfill reporting requirements.

Job Qualification Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Possess technical ability; and have mechanical aptitude.

  • Working experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Customer service experience, a plus.

  • Possess the ability to work flexibly, adapting quickly to change and responding positively to new ways of working.

  • Possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide variety of internal and external people, formally and informally, and where necessary to gain their trust and confidence.

Physical Requirement :

  • This position supports a multi-building customer location. Considerable amount of walking between buildings is required.
