Responsibilities and Qualifications

Our digital Ecommerce team is highly analytical, moves fast and is focused on delivering quantifiable results. In this role, you will be responsible for managing retention programs to engage with CamelBak customers. We're looking for a talented Retention Marketing Manager to join us to work directly with leadership and key stakeholders across different team, to make a big impact on overarching company goals.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Drive strategic growth initiatives focused on lifecycle & engagement, partnership marketing programs, and more

  • Develop and track KPIs that help communicate progress and opportunities within retention marketing to key stakeholders throughout the company

  • Manage retention campaigns from end to end; strategy, requirement gathering, creative approach and optimizations, building, monitoring, reporting and analysis

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Brand Marketing, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Development teams to deliver compelling new personalized customer journeys

  • Responsible for project management across all phases of email creation and deployment; including management of creative briefs, timelines, internal business reviews and email ops/production; ensuring that campaigns (including tests, segmentation and complex personalization logic) are set up and deployed accurately in a timely manner

  • Develop engagement and customer communication strategies that continuously articulate and reinforce the product’s value and purpose to foster retention and increase customer lifetime value.

  • Leverage research, insights, and campaign results to make data-driven decisions, including identifying potential profitable new retention channels

  • Manage the operational aspects of new features such as personalization, dynamic content, targeting, and triggers

  • Deep expertise in managing day-to-day email execution (segmentation, production, deployment, reporting)

  • Rollout diverse testing strategy to optimize ROI and establish number of marketing touches to drive conversion and improvements in LTV

  • Assist, as needed, with broader digital marketing initiatives that help drive growth for the site and brand overall

ABOUT YOU

  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience managing retention or CRM programs from conception through analysis

  • Experience leveraging a complex marketing automation and CRM systems

  • Deep knowledge in customer segmentation, list management, deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws

  • Passion for data-driven marketing and building programs that drive incremental results

  • A creative thinker who uses data to improve campaigns and customer retention strategies

  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills

  • Team player and strong communicator

  • Exceptional project management skills, experience managing multiple competing projects/deadlines, and strong attention to detail

  • Customer obsessed and a creative thinker; you care deeply about our customers and their experience with the brand.

  • Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required

  • Experience in the Outdoor Industry a bonus
