Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director to lead our client's HR department. As the sole HR representative, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives to support our employees and drive organizational success.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives to support business growth and sustainability.

  • Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent across various functions within the organization.

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.

  • HR Policy Development: Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, develop training programs, and facilitate employee development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and fairness.

  • HR Administration: Manage HR operations including payroll processing, employee records maintenance, and HRIS management.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Additional education or certification helpful also.

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • Experience in agriculture or manufacturing industries preferred.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
