Position Summary: Provides administrative support to the Instructional Services Department with a primary focus on the Teaching & Learning team.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Associates degree in Education or Business Administration preferred
Minimum of 2 years administrative experience
Experience with Macintosh/PC computer format including Google and Microsoft Suite applications
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Provides administrative assistance for the acquisition and management of teaching and learning materials
Orders curriculum materials and resources for assessments
Processes purchase orders for Student Services and SEBMH departments
Ensures all purchases are ordered, received and reconciled according to district guidelines
Manages digital accounts for Teaching and Learning
Maintains accurate data and completes reports related to state funding and programs (Perkins, Title I, Title II, Title IV, PLTW)
Completes administrative tasks and processes for training and certification programs
Coordinates and distributes communication regarding student assessments and reports
Fulfills student transcript and education verification requests
Communicates with buildings as needed
Performs data entry and maintains monthly budget documentation
Assists with coordination of Teaching & Learning events
Completes required trainings
Other Functions
Provides support to superintendent’s office
Provides district office support with incoming calls and room reservations
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge of educational services
Working knowledge of general office equipment
Intermediate level of technology skills; proficient with Google and Microsoft Suite applications
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
Excellent record keeping and documentation skills
Basic mathematical and accounting skills
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and problem solve with minimal supervision and direction
Ability to adapt to new and changing situations

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Frequent sitting and moderate standing and walking
Moderate lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.; pushing up to 50 lbs.
Occasional climbing, bending and squatting
Work is performed in an indoor office setting with occasional work in a warehouse environment
