Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a CFO. The CFO must have strong analytical, strategic-planning, operational and communication skills, including an ability to work well with the CEO, board members and other senior executives. A combination of industry and public accounting experience is highly valued. If you are an experienced CFO looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.

Key responsibilities

• Sustain relationships with investors and investment institutions

• Govern accounting policies, procedures and internal controls

• Analyze cash flow as it relates to the organization's operations

• Own vendor relationships

• Supervise all finance personnel

• Enforce staff compliance with company policies and state and federal laws

• Preside over independent auditor relationships

• Oversee implementations and upgrades for financial systems

• Recognize and control insurance requirements and business risks

• Hire, train and retain finance and accounting staff

• Provide strategic management of the accounting and finance functions

• Recommend improvements to continue the integrity of a company's financial information Requirements - Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• Experience with higher level functionality in Microsoft Excel

• 10+ years' experience in accounting or finance

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• MBA, CPA, CGMA or CMA preferred

• Deep technical background in public accounting (GAAP)

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• 5+ years' management experience

• Public accounting experience a plus
