Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Field is tasked with performing preventative maintenance, light maintenance repair, and equipment inspections on rented, leased, and owned equipment. The ideal candidate must be familiar with heavy equipment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze, diagnose, repair, rebuild, and provide maintenance of heavy and light-duty equipment such as excavators, skid loaders, motor graders, bulldozers, tractor-trailers and semis.
Dismantles, repairs, and reassembles equipment using hoists, hand tools, and pneumatic and electric tools.
Work hydraulic and electrical systems.
Routinely perform safety and productivity observations: field, vehicle, and equipment.
Ability to read and understand maintenance/safety/technical manuals, and safety/warning signs. Ability to work as part of a team; communicate effectively with fellow workers and alternate. Ability to demonstrate adherence to established safety policies and procedures. Responsible for maintaining equipment maintenance records. Conducts post-repair testing and diagnostics. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school or equivalent (Preferred) Mechanical/repair: 2 years (Preferred) Certified Welder: (Preferred) Truck and Heavy Equipment Mechanics: 2 years (Preferred) Must possess a valid drivers license. Proficient with related computer diagnostic equipment and software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues. Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.
