We are hiring a Elevator Superintendent for our location in Le Grand, Iowa (40 miles east of Ames, IA). In this role, you will be responsible for grain handling and plant maintenance.

This role is for you if you have:
High school diploma or GED and/or experience in grain, maintenance, agriculture, farming, equipment operation, or other relatable experience.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a CDL with required endorsements.
Willingness to obtain a Pest Control Applicators License.
Ability to work longer hours during peak seasons.
An outstanding work ethic with ability to pay attention to the details.
Ability to always project a positive attitude to customers and employees while exhibiting good customer relations skills.
What you will be doing:
Assisting with grain quality and handling. Keeping good grain condition, and monthly facility inspections, as by OSHA inspection standard.
Monitor grain inventory quality/condition and complete weekly inventory reports
Performing the dumping and receiving of producers' grain.
Bin Grain by type and quality factors.
Blend and load out grain as directed to meet contract grade and weight specifications.
Deliver to customers products and services that are sold by the branch, on schedule.
Display reliable attendance and schedules time-off with advance notice.
Promotes the business with existing and potential customers.
Performs required preventative maintenance and have all preventive maintenance reports turned in on time.
Assist in chemical shed with automated load out system.
Assist with NH3 plant and dry fertilizer plant.
Grounds keeping as assigned by location manager.
Cleans up grain spills; assists in keeping all inside and outside work areas extremely neat and orderly.
