We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in Marion, Iowa. In this role, you'll be a part of an industry that requires familiarity with accounting software systems and timekeeping software. The role involves managing payroll functions, handling employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with payroll legislation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of payroll for 500+ employees using payroll software.

• Handle special payroll deductions and ensure they are correctly applied.

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian for efficient payroll processing.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in payroll and adherence to regulations.

• Manage 401k

• Process new hires and provide them a seamless onboarding experience.

• Use Excel Formulas and VLOOKUP to maintain and update payroll records.

• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with HR to align payroll functions with overall HR strategy.

Requirements

• Prior experience processing payroll for 500+ employees

• Understanding of 401k and reporting

• Familiarity with Payroll software and strong proficiency in Excel

• Understanding of Special Payroll Deductions

• Processing payroll and making adjustments in a timely manner
