Job Title: Technician

Job Description

We are seeking multiple individuals to assist our Audio/Video Technicians with the installation and service of professional audio/video/network systems in retail locations, churches/houses of worship, educational, and corporate environments. Working alongside more experienced technicians, you will gain hands-on experience in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities

  • Install and service equipment under the oversight of more experienced technicians.

  • Pull cable and build racks.

  • Build and test cables.

  • Measure and record speaker levels or load readings.

  • Set up and record settings for various network equipment.

  • Assist with stocking vans and shared trailers.

  • Assist with care of tool inventory and upkeep.

  • Assist with monitoring of back room small parts inventory.

  • Assist and job shadow for service calls and projects.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with construction and hand/power tools.

  • Ability to work at heights, including on 30ft scaffolding.

  • Mechanically inclined with knowledge of audiovisual and low voltage systems.

  • Ability to correctly handle a variety of audio/video/network equipment.

  • Ability to assemble and test a variety of cables.

  • Ability to take and record readings during troubleshooting or installation.
