AS GLOBAL SALES MANAGER, YOU WILL:Prepare and negotiate long term customer alliance agreements targeted at increasing sales volume while increasing divisional operating profit targets review with Industry Director and Global Industry Sales Department VP.Review commercial terms and conditions for contracts and determine acceptable business risks gain alignment from Industry DirectorDevelop an overall global industry plan including the major accounts, second tier accounts, and OEMs that focus on profitable global growth.Manage customer agreements customer expectations and deliverables while optimizing profit. Work in conjunction with Sales Channel outside account managers and gain alignment with Industry Director and Department VP.Develop technical / product plans in conjunction with the field sales teams for the major target accounts and leads team reviews/ updates of account plans based on changing market/customer conditions/ competitive activity in focused industry segment.Discover and understand customers primary business goals, operations, challenges, requirements, organization and develops sponsorship with keyEvaluate and prioritize pursuit strategy. Coordinate efforts across multiple world areas forinternational projects. Set pricing in conjunction with divisional objectives for sales and operating profit gain Industry Director and GIS VP approval.Identify and investigate emerging market segments for focused industry segment and develop strategies to penetrate those markets.Identify existing andfuture / potential product gaps for global industry segment to drive new product development from the product BU's.Provide technical and commercial direction to the outside sales channel.Expedite and escalate key customer complaints in focused industry segment and problems as is required to obtain satisfactory and timely resolution.Responsible for day-to-day price management within the focused industry to maximize operating profit while growing sales.Analyze competitive strengths/weaknesses and market pricing as it impacts the focused industry segment.Manage / supervise sales engineers (i.e., career development, day-to-day direction, etc.).Responsible for setting long-term direction for global sales indefined industry segment.Provide direction for independent representatives and direct sales offices with respect to focused industry sales.Responsible for identifying and sizing target industry market segments and determining business needs for success.Provide industry focus and expertise to product marketing and world area sales organization product application, industry product understanding and industry customer relationship.Utilize influence management to increase world area sales focus on specific industry initiatives for growth.Manage the development ofindustry schools to train global sales personnel while being aware of cultural needs.Establish and maintain relationships with key management with Industry, OEM and customer organizations.Provide timely updates to management on progress toward execution of focused industry trends, booking forecast, goals and industry penetration plans.Work with sales offices to develop monthly SOP forecast (2-year forecast) for North America manufacturing plants and global focused industry impact.Work with product BU's to provide value messaging to the outside sales force and promote value- based selling targeted at the focused industry segment.Understand the complete Fisher portfolio for solutions and technologies, including Plant Web, Wireless, and SIS to meet clients operational and financial requirements.Incorporate results of industry market and other research and inputs from technology sources to assure Fisher designs and products can be specified or migrated by Industry equipment providers, automation integrators and target customers.WHO YOU ARE:You quickly and decisively take actions in fact-changing, unpredictable situations.You establish common objectives and a shared mindset.You define
