Plant Health Strategy Technician
DIVISION: Pork Business Unit
LOCATION: Marshalltown, Iowa
REPORTS TO: PHS Supervisor
STATUS: Salaried Non-ExemptTYPE: Full-Time
HOURS: 1st Shift
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the shift operations regarding biosecurity measures and prevention. In particular, executing the activities to ensure continual sanitization and cleanliness. Ensure all employees, visitors, and vendors are adhering to SOPs and preventative measures. Communicating opportunities to management, ensuring overall safety and comfort of the workforce.
Managing the restriction/allowance of workforce and visitors, managing the health screening center contractors, and so forth. Further, it will be the responsibility of the PHS Department to communicate and educate all facility personnel and management on opportunities and mitigation efforts.
