Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with relevant tax laws, and maintaining a high level of professionalism. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, with experience in payroll processing and a keen eye for detail.
Basic responsibilities: Candidate will work closely with the finance team with primary responsibility for timely and accurate biweekly payroll processing. Routine accounting tasks and some clerical work will be required.

Pay: Starting wage $19/hour (DOE)
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent, degree in accounting or business is preferred.
- One year of experience in payroll is preferred.
- Have adequate computer skills to complete job duties as assigned. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Attend all mandatory training required by this position.
- A degree in accounting or business is preferred and at least one year of experience in payroll.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
