Description:

• Provides support to Project Engineering and/or Manufacturing Engineering Department and functions.

• Helps design, build and improve product manufacturing methods, fixtures, tools, and other related equipment.

• Assists in identifying and solving engineering and processing problems through root cause analysis. Participates in engineering research and development activities asassigned, including the use of AutoCAD.

• Suggests purchasing necessary engineering and mechanical equipment, tools, supplies, and materials.

• Assists in training other Associates in product, process, tool and equipment design, and safety methods.

• Designs, builds and modifies workstations, benches, tools fixtures, and equipment.

• Attends and participates in engineering staff meetings and customer meetings as required.

• Practices safety at all times, using all personal protective equipment as required and following all OSHA and Centro safety requirements, including lock-out/tag-out, MSDS, and HAZCOM.

• Must become a Centro certified fork truck operator, and operate it in a safe manner.

• Maintains a clean, well-organized, and safe work environment.

• Practices self-improvement of skills through HRQS and completes additional training as required.

• Performs other related or special tasks as requested by Manufacturing Engineer Leader.
