    SCHEDULE: Full-time ; Monday through Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm) Average of 40 Hours/week

    LOCATION: 590 W Forevergreen Rd, North Liberty, IA 52317

    SCOPE:

    Under the direction of the Trust Operations officer staff, responsible for performing accounting and processing functions of the Trust and Wealth Management department.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    Core Trust Operations: (100%)

  • Process all incoming cash via checks, ACH delivery, wires and internal account-to-account transfers

  • Process all outgoing cash via checks, ACH delivery, wires and internal account-to-account transfers

  • Process all third party trades

  • Ensure that cash accounts are balanced and reconciled daily

  • Maintain document imaging system for customer bills, invoices, trade confirmations, outside broker statements, daily work, and reports

  • Update document imaging system to add new accounts and identify closed accounts

  • Monitor outstanding checks, and reverse and void checks as necessary

  • Review and approve new account openings in trust accounting system

  • Review and verify transactional tax coding

  • Assist with annual tax reviews and make adjustments in the tax software as necessary to ensure proper tax reporting

  • Manage online access requests, setup and maintenance

  • Prepare and assemble monthly Trust Committee packets

    EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two years of college; or four to five years of trust related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Trust Accounting Platform and other systems which represent core elements of our work environment (will receive training).

  • Must have working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and basic database management.

  • Must be able to operate PC and printers, transcription system, copier, adding machine and fax machine.
