Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Job Description
We are a full-service distributor of bulk food ingredients, supplying major companies with essential products. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient movement of products within our warehouse.
Responsibilities
Operate Sit Down Forklift
Read the computer and use a scan gun when pulling product
Lift up to 80 lbs
Accurately record data and information
Case picking and unloading products
Read labels and understand product segregation to prevent cross-contamination
Ensure food safety guidelines are followed
Cover multiple areas and complete various tasks as needed
Maintain allergen awareness and prevent cross-contamination
Essential Skills
1+ year of Forklift experience
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of food safety guidelines
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience using RF scan guns
Familiarity with warehouse inventory management

Work Environment
Our warehouse operates in a very fast-paced environment, requiring candidates to be prepared to hustle and work hard. The facility is colder in the winter and warmer in the summer. We have a great culture that emphasizes safety and teamwork. Work hours are Wednesday-Saturday from 7 AM to 5:30 PM or Sunday-Tuesday from 6 AM to 6:30 PM and Friday from 5 AM to 9 AM. Overtime is available but not mandatory. Dress code includes shorts or pants, sleeved shirts (no profanity), and steel-toed shoes.
