Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Candidate will perform product assembly and production functions of custom doors. Candidates will be using clamps, presses, sanders, nail guns, hand and power tools, and a computer. Must know how to read a tape measure, or at least the basics of how to read one. Candidates must be willing and able to lift 50 lbs consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform product assembly and production functions of custom doors

  • Utilize clamps, presses, sanders, nail guns, hand and power tools, and a computer

  • Read and interpret measurements using a tape measure

  • Consistently lift 50 lbs throughout the shift

  • Work every other Saturday from 6am to 2:30pm

Essential Skills

  • Experience with hand tools, general labor, assembly, and construction

  • Ability to read a tape measure

  • Experience with production and general production tasks

  • Familiarity with forklift, machine operation, and machine operating

  • Experience with inspection, power tools, and blueprint reading

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with calipers and wood products

  • Previously worked in assembly, construction, carpentry, or manufacturing settings

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 6am to 4:30pm, with every other Saturday required from 6am to 2:30pm. The role involves working with various tools and equipment in a manufacturing setting. Steel-toed boots are not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northwood, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
