Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Candidates will be programming the CNC machines and selecting the appropriate program from the work order for the product they are working on. They need to be able to read blueprints and understand how to upload specifications into machines. They will also be responsible for performing quality checks to ensure the product was correctly placed into the machine.
Responsibilities
Program CNC machines and select the correct program from the work order.
Read blueprints and upload specifications into machines.
Perform quality checks to ensure correct product placement in machines.
Essential Skills
Experience in machine operation and production.
Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with inspection and general labor tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in assembly, construction, carpentry, or any machine operating role is advantageous.
Familiarity with tools such as calipers and press brakes.

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, with a requirement to work every other Saturday from 6am to 2:30pm. No steel toe boots are required. The work involves operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, and performing quality checks in a production environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northwood, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.81 - $23.81/hr.
