Job Description

• Performs various maintenance functions on equipment, facility, and grounds, including basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing upkeep and repair

• This position provides additional leadership and support to the manager assigned to the facility and temporarily covers for that manager in their absence. Oversee maintenance projects from start to finish

• Supervise maintenance staff and manage outside contractors. Troubleshoot equipment issues and formulate solutions. Research and locate equipment/parts; request parts/services as needed

• Operate and maintain tools/machinery (e.g., power tools, forklift, welder)

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems in accordance with manufacturers guidelines

• Conduct preventative maintenance on machines and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency
