Description Are you a detail-oriented individual hoping to join the ranks of a successful Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance company as an Accounts Payable Clerk? This Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position is at a dynamic organization with a growing team, and will require the candidate to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The opening for a permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Orange City, Iowa area.

Responsibilities

• Complete full-cycle A/P

• Assist with internal and external audits as needed

• Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

• Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

• Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

• Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

• Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

• Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

• Provide support to internal business partners Requirements - Spreadsheet and database capabilities

• 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

• Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Microsoft Excel experience

• Command of general ledger

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

• Strong familiarity with Excel Formulas

• Highly organized and self-motivated
