This is an entry level position to train and familiarize potential full time hires with RRD printing press and collator equipment. Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following;

• Operate all equipment in a safe manner

• Understand quality objectives and tolerances of product

• Obtain basic knowledge of printing process

• Obtain basic knowledge of multipart form, label, perforated form, fold, cut sheet, and rewind process

• Learn correct quality check out procedure

• Set up of various equipment necessary to printing and/or collating process including;

• litho and/or flexo printing plates

• printing blankets

• rollers

• perforation blades/units

• numbering heads

• cut off units

• folding table

• sheeter

• hot and cold melt glue systems

• Other duties as assigned

Limited to 20 hours per week. Upon completion of training program and a satisfactory review trainees can be hired as full time operators on 2nd or 3rd shift.
